  • Coordinates and monitors the implementation of the Department of Skill Development e-Training Privatisation Programme Concession Project.

This online digital pedagogical module is designed to equip TVET instructors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively integrate digital tools and technologies into their teaching practices. This objective aims to empower TVET instructors to create engaging, learner-centered, and technologically enriched learning environments that enhance students' technical competencies, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to the digital age workforce. Through this comprehensive module, TVET instructors will explore effective digital teaching strategies, learn to create engaging online learning experiences, and discover how to foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. The module will consist of interactive content, practical activities, and opportunities for self-assessment, providing a rich and engaging learning experience. The module will be designed to foster a collaborative learning community among TVET instructors, promoting the exchange of best practices and ideas. The module's estimated duration is approximate and may vary based on the learners' pace and level of engagement.

 

Assessment:

  • Formative assessments, quizzes, and reflective exercises will be included in each module to assess learners' understanding and progress.
  • A final summative assessment will evaluate the overall mastery of the module's concepts and skills.
  • At the end of the module, participants will complete a final project where they design and develop a comprehensive digital lesson plan and eLearning module for a specific TVET subject. The lesson plan should incorporate the principles and strategies learned throughout the module, including engaging multimedia elements, interactive activities, collaborative learning opportunities, and effective assessment strategies. Participants will have the opportunity to present their final projects to the instructor and receive feedback from peers. The final project will be evaluated based on the demonstration of digital pedagogical knowledge, creativity, and effective use of technology in instructional design. This final project aims to showcase participants' proficiency in digital pedagogy and their ability to apply their learning in a real-world context.
